Yaranga House was originally conceived as a guest house inspired by the traditional dwellings of Kamchatka’s Indigenous people, reflecting the client’s cultural roots. The design was first developed for South Lake Tahoe as a luxurious Airbnb rental, intended to blend vernacular form with contemporary comfort. However, following changes in short-term rental regulations, the project was relocated to the Moscow region, where the concept evolved while preserving its original spirit.
